About Us
Gallagher Painting is a locally owned and operated, small, family-run business of painters Halifax, Nova Scotia. We’re a husband and wife team, joined by professional, friendly crews who also feel like family. With over 30 years of experience in the painting industry, we strive to make the process as easy and stress-free as possible for our customers. Our goal is to be the best house painters Halifax has to offer—serving the city and surrounding communities with pride.
Marc has been a painter all his life, beginning his painting career as a teenager. He later worked for several local painting contractors across Nova Scotia before finally starting his own company in 2005.
Starting as just a one man show Gallagher Painting has grown to a team, that fluctuates in sized based on seasonal demand, who handle all types of interior and exterior painting jobs including:

Marc & Juanita Gallagher
Marc has been painting for over 30 years, with extensive practical and managerial experience. He is our resident spray finisher and a master of his craft—especially when it comes to detailed work handled by experienced interior painters Halifax homeowners trust. Gallagher Painting has been in business for 17+ years. In the past 10 years, we’ve expanded to include our shop space. It houses our spray booth where most of our cabinetry painting is done, and allows us to focus on projects in a controlled environment while also minimizing disruption in your home.
